Big Eyes presale scam warning Firepin token FRPN Rug Pull

Several Telegram users have posted warnings that Big Eyes coin presale used the same mailing list as that of Firepin (FRPN) and Seesaw (SSW).

Firepin token and Seesaw Protocol were crypto presale scams that rug pulled their investors earlier this year, and have been linked to a dozen other failed tokens associated with the BoostX crypto launchpad.

BoostX Launchpad Scams

Presales, ICOs and IDOs attract high levels of interest from investors and traders as the upside potential is high when being one of the first buyers of new crypto assets – if they are legitimate, genuine projects.

That has created a market for scammers to targets beginners and expert traders alike, hoping to make 10x – 100x gains by investing as early as possible in a new cryptocurrency at the presale stage.

Earlier this year Currency.com posted that their team had reviewed and assessed many new crypto projects on the BoostX launchpad, that appeared to be run by an anonymous fraud ring:

A Currency.com assessment of the 13 projects shows similarities in web design, pre-sale portal design and whitepaper design. Largely similar sponsored content for the projects can be found on Google.

Email correspondence shared with Currency.com by early-stage investors suggests that Firepin and the flatlined SeeSaw Protocol project (both projects affiliated with BoostX) are registered to the same offshore address in the Seychelles.

BoostX – which does not provide any contact information on its website – did not immediately respond to a Currency.com request for comment via the company’s application portal.

Users on the SeeSaw token CoinMarketCap page have posted similar warnings, citing other BoostX rugpulls including Pacman Frog, Degrain, Caprice Finance, Logarithmic, Gnox and others.

Is Big Eyes Coin a Scam?

Users in the Big Eyes Telegram channel recently posted warnings that they were sent email marketing by the Big Eyes token team, to burner email addresses they had only previously used to register an interest in Firepin token.

Those warnings were later deleted by Big Eyes team admins and moderators.

YouTube influencers Jacob Bury and Carl Talks Crypto have posted videos speculating whether Big Eyes token is a scam or a copycat of recent crypto presales.

Another popular YouTuber Crypto Bellwether also posted a video Big Eyes Crypto SCAM ALERT.

In August we reported on RoboApe (RBA) and issues with its smart contract audit by Solidity Finance. The RoboApe presale did then emerge to be a scam, with investors reporting on Reddit that they never received their RBA tokens.

All of the aforementioned scam crypto projects did not have a public, doxxed team that appeared on video – which also applies to the Big Eyes presale.

The Firepin / Seesaw rug pull never resulted in any arrests or compensation being issued to investors – potentially leaving the team free to simply rebrand and start another anonymous presale, after another, in a largely unregulated market.

While it can’t be verified if Big Eyes coin is developed by the same scam team, its connection to the Firepin mailing list and anonymous team are red flags.

The Big Eyes (BIG) project is attempting to raise a hard cap of $51 million USDT.
